Palo Santo, White Sage & Smoke Cleansing
At CRYSTALYN, we respect all faiths, traditions, and cultures. For centuries people of all spiritual backgrounds have traditionally used smoke cleansing for personal and spiritual purposes.
It is important for us to share the following: Smudging is a closed practice belonging to First Nations peoples. There is a difference between smudging and smoke cleansing. Smoke cleansing your home/sacred space and cleansing and clearing your crystals of negative or low-lying energies is not to be viewed as smudging.
Smudging is a sacred ceremony that is taught and passed down by the elders in the First Nations communities. We should be mindful of using the word "smudge" when you are cleansing and clearing your crystals, home, and sacred space. While these practices may appear to be similar, they are not entirely the same. Please contact your local First Nations cultural center to learn more about traditional Indigenous cultural practices.
